Heredad Segura Viudas starts its journey in 1954, cultivating lands that have a century-long tradition. Located 10 minutes from Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, these lands are right in the heart of Penedés.

Thanks to their willingness to preserve biodiversity through sustainable viticulture and by respecting tradition, as well as their enthusiasm for innovation, Heredad Segura Viudas has been able to create one of the most awarded brands in national and international wine tastings.

Segura Viudas Rosat is a wine made from Tempranillo and Merlot. Harvest is done mechanically and at night, and it is transported in double-bottom trailers so that the must that is produced by the pressure is separated from the rest of the grapes. Only this must will be used. Once the harvest arrives at the winery, it is refrigerated at 12ºC. Then, it goes through a static settling process for the fermentation to begin at 16ºC. After the fermentation is finished, the wine is racked and left to stand for a month on its fine lees.
