The use of Ampiclox Capsules is for the prevention or treatment of bacterial infections. It can also be used to treat infections of the respiratory tract, such as bronchitis, pneumonia, emphysema, lung abscess, and cystic fibrosis infections. Tonsillitis, sinusitis, pharyngitis, otitis media, and quinsy are ear, nose, and throat infections. Septic abortion, salpingitis, puerperal pyrexia, and caesarian section prophylaxis are all examples of pelvic infections. Cystitis and pyelonephritis are two types of urinary tract infections. Abscesses, boils, carbuncles, and post-operative wound infections are all examples of skin and soft tissue infections. Infections in the gastrointestinal tract, septicaemia, endocarditis, and orthopaedic infections are all common.
