Casamigos Reposado Tequila is made from hand-selected 100% Blue Weber agaves from the rich soil of the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico, aged for 7 months, giving it that beautiful silky-smooth oaky vanilla taste.
The agaves are slow-roasted in traditional brick ovens for 72 hours – longer than that of most traditional tequilas which are usually roasted from 40 hours to as low as 7 hours. The fermentation process is also a little longer than with usual for tequilas – 80 hours instead of the average 48 hours. Finally, Casamigos Reposado rests for 7 months in stainless-steel before being bottled at 80 proof and sent to us in the UK so we can enjoy this ‘Hollywood-level’ premium tequila reposado for ourselves.
The Casamigos brand is also the proud winner of several gold medals in various international spirits competitions including the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, the Los Angeles International Spirits Competition, the New York World Wine and Spirits Competition and the Spirits of Mexico Tasting Competition.
