Description
Treatment of P. falciparum malaria for those patients in whom chloroquine resistance is suspected. The combination is indicated for travelers to endemic areas where chloroquine-resistant P. falciparum malaria is prevalent.
The unlabelled use of Sulfadoxine and Pyrimethamine as prophylactic agent for the prevention of Pneumocystis carinii pneumonia in patients with AIDS, usually as a second line agent. Only use this medication under the direction of your physician.
